Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup tahini sesame paste
  • 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 garlic clove minced or grated
  • 1/4 cup cold water adjust as needed
  • 1/4 tsp ground cumin optional
  • Salt to taste

Instructions
 

  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together tahini, lemon juice, and garlic. The mixture will thicken initially.
  • Gradually add cold water, 1 tablespoon at a time, whisking until the sauce reaches your desired consistency.
  • Add cumin (if using) and season with salt to taste.
  • Serve immediately or store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.

Notes

  • Adjust the thickness by adding more or less water depending on your use (thicker for a dip, thinner for a dressing).
  • For extra flavor, stir in chopped parsley or a dash of smoked paprika.
  • Use high-quality tahini for the best results.
